Rac.fm

**NOTE TO READER: You've found yourself wondering into the abyss of my 14 year old mind, I'm flattered you've got here but any post from 2012 or prior is bound to be cringey, nevertheless, do enjoy my pubescent faffling and my evident short attention span to the point where I'm literally going off topic every 3 seconds. Good Luck**

If my early childhood was a techno song ^^THIS^ would be it. Oh, it's all coming back to me; the pixelated screens, the 8-BIT theme tunes -no matter how classy any xbox 360 may be or how sleek a  PS3 is, the Nintendo 64 will always be unbeatable. You know a songs good when a surge of nostalgia rushes down your spine. The  memories of my 7 year old self, trying to sneak my Gameboy Advance in and out my school bag; Pokemon, Sonic, Mario, Rayman, Earthworm Jim. Good times. Anyway, this song is kickass, which is no surprise since its a remix from indie-techno masters: Rac.fm

Rac.fm literally do the best remixes for indie/pop/alternative songs I know. It's the fact that they manage to do dance remixes of great songs without ruining the song or being too cheesy  making the song their own and adding signature 'rac.fm' beats and drops. When I found their site I was overwhelmed; it was as if they'd gone into my brain, found my top 10 favorite songs and then epically remixed them to uplifting tunes.
I'm most likely the only person who does this but, sometimes, when I'm walking down the street, I tend to put on an upbeat song, start walking to the pace of the song and pretend I'm in a movie. It's stupid but it makes me smile :) These are the types of songs I'd bob along to, all Rac.fm's:
Go on, have a quick listen through them...

Beautiful isn't, it? How can one be so upbeat yet so chilled at the same time? Its beyond me...  Rac.fm isn't actually a radio station if you're wondering; its actually a group of awesome people who put together some great remixes and make gnarly songs. RAC actually stands for Remix Artist Collective and boy do they know how to remix. The group consists of three artists and he remixes are mainly done by the founder of the group, André Anjos, a really cool Portuguese dude who's has had his fair share in show business and has worked in TV (Entourage/90210/How To Make It In America) and in the film "Holy Rollers," starring Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Bartha. Do you get any cooler? I mean Jessie Essienberg.  Sorry, got a bit side-tracked. Back to the point of André Anjos, he produces some impressive songs. With help from his american amigos of course; Andrew Maury and Karl Kling, who also produce, mix and compose songs for RAC. But wait... it gets better  André also does covers of songs with his rad wife, Liz.  In conclusion, André lives the life I wish to have when i'm older: Making electronica indie remixes, touring the world, happily married to a fly partner with the same love of music and working in the same film as Jessie Eissenberg who will one day realise his uncontitional love for me...haha just joking...ha..ha..kinda...So yeah, check their site, it's superfly... http://rac.fm/
