Tokyo Police Club

**Note to reader: This was my first band review, I have decided not to delete or edit it like the others because of the sentimental value and proof of grammatical progress I have made over 2/3 years but please don't laugh at the cheesy puns and poor spelling I was 12**

okay,i lied, i said that i was doing reviews on up and coming bands.well,i think that tokyo police club has alredy made it!well,in the US and canada, anyway.however,in -my hometown-london, i guess they could do with a lot more popularity! lets beggin:

TOKYO POLICE CLUB is a canadian indie band made up by four awesome dudes who go by the name of DAVID MONKS-bass and singer,GREG ASLOP-drummer,GRAHAM WRIGHT-keyboardist and JOSH HOOK-guitarist.

formed in 2005 (in a basement, just playing for fun,)TOKYO POLICE CLUB are an engergetic band wich -no matter what mood you were in- after listening to just any one of thier tracks, they get you pumped and give you the feeling  that you can take on anything.

for example,my personal favourite "wait up (boots of danger)" is a fantastic song from thier album "champ" wich i usually listen to before i go skatepark. And you know the big ramp, and i'm not talking that biggish ramp, but i'm talking about the HUGE ramp.yes the one locals call the death ramp and its the very same ramp on wich "jimmy no legs" lost his legs 20 years ago. well after listening to "wait up (boots of danger)" i go on that ramp and it feels like a little hill to me.that is untill i'm nearly at the bottom of the ramp and i start having second thoughts! but, anyway,my point is that Tokyo Police Club are so good that they can accualy change your mood..thats the affect their music has!

so for all you indie lovers or peeps who wanna listen to something new, join the tokyo police club and get one of their three albums "a lesson in crime","elephant shell"or "champ" and i can nearly grantee it will be worth it! heck, buy all three of their albums if you wanna. Young, Fresh and Canadian. What more could you ask for from an indie band?
